Excellent class! Rob clearly knows his stuff and he made learning fun. It is a lot of information but Rob was very patient and took time answering questions. My camera used to intimidate me but after taking this class I can't put my camera down and practice what I learned. Great experience and fun...looking forward to taking more classes.

Great class - Rob is a great instructor, and explains everything in detail (what, why, etc). Definitely a class I would recommend to any photographer.

I kept saying to myself, "Oh, that's how you do that." I just hope everything I learned will work when I go out on my own.

This was an excellent introductory course, well organized and presented for optimum learning of a lot of information in a relatively short period of time. The two hour field practice session tour was helpful to immediately practice what we learned for faster retention. I plan to take several more courses from Right Light Photography.

Perfect class for anyone that would like to know how to operate their camera and learn how to take great pictures and really not have to read their manual. Perfect beginners course.

Jason shared information that helped clear up any confusion I previously had. If you want to shoot manual and know your camera then this class is a must! Thanks again!

I highly recommend this course. It was a good foundation for me to learn the basics of my camera. With the skills I learned in this class I can experiment and learn more about my camera. It was worth taking this class just to learn the features of my camera.

I liked the class. For 39 students, you might want to try to have an xtra instructor who walks around answering questions. Glad we had a nearby location for shooting photos. Several of us had batteries that died around 3 pm, so I took my leave then. I also misunderstood that the class went till 4pm. That might b e my fault. Thank you for honoring the GROUPON coupons for so long. Mine was a Christmas gift from my husband.

I thought class was too large and did not enjoy the accomodations.

Was a great class. I enjoyed the instruction from Jason and Terri. At the end I felt a lot more comfortable with my camera. Can't wait to get feedback on my pictures.

E xcellent class. I liked the way we did the hands on practice. no time wasted. I am always a little slower at catching on. I was able to keep up with hands on being taught this way. Sometimes I had a little trouble hearing as fast as Jason was talking, but that is necessary to cover all the infomation. It was a great experience & I won't hesitate to take more classes. Thank you, Julia McKinney

Great class for someone who wants to learn or get better in Photography. Learned basic techniques on how to improve your pictures. Jason is great, you can ask questions and suggestions and he made time to answer every questions. I like that he's encouraging, he doesn't expect you to be a "pro" right away.

It was a great class for anyone new to cameras or those of us that always used the automatic program. Some of the things taught I already do, but there was plenty of helpful material I was able to use. Thank you, Julie McKinney

Glad I took this and didn't decide to just attempt to learn by playing around with the camera. Learned more in three hours than I probably would have in months of trying to do it on my own. Definitely worth the money.

Very informative. I loved the structure of the class...you learn about a feature, then immediately practice and apply it. The instructor (Rob Andrew) was wonderful. He was patient, fun, very informative & quite the juggler (ha)! I'm looking forward to signing up for another class now. Highly Recommend!

Very informative, very hands-on and extremely practical! Pro Instructor Rob did a great job explaining the basics, then building on them with examples, practice, evaluation and feedback. His guidance was instrumental in helping me to understand my camera and what I have been doing wrong. I feared that a class of 25 might leave little time for personal instruction, but it was the perfect balance of instruction and execution. I left with a heightened level of confidence and understanding for how to adjust my camera and correct my shots in the field instead if trying to salvage them in Lightroom. I strongly recommend this valuable class to anyone who has invested in a DSLR but doesn't yet know what all the buttons and knobs are for, or those more advanced users who just want to spend time with a Pro who will break it all down in easy to follow examples and exercises.

The class was a wonderful refresher for me and gave me a quick start on learning the controls on my husband's DSLR camera. My last class thirty years ago in college included developing black and white prints in the dark room, so I had a strong background in the material but had mostly used a point and shoot for decades. Rob was very helpful in figuring out how to activate the controls on multiple camera models. He shared many basic rules of composition. I would highly recommend the class.

Rob Andrew was so fun and engaging. I loved the class and learned tons about my camera and how to use it manually. I plan on doing other classes with Right Light. Thanks, Rob!
